Staying fit year round is critical to continuing to stay healthy, injury-free, and improving during the track season. We encourage athletes to maintain fitness through other Centaurus sports and activities throughout the year.

Those interested in joining the Centaurus Cross Country team in the fall are

encouraged to come to the summer running program:

Cost: Free!

Mon (Davidson Mesa), Fri (Lafayette Rec), Sat (Captains’ choice): 8:00am

Tues (Teller), Wed (Centaurus), Thurs (Bobolink): 7:00pm

Group 1: New runners/ Beginning runners/ Returning from injury/ Limited or no running background

Group 2: Returning JV runners/ aspiring Varsity runners

Group 3: Potential Varsity runners/ returning Varsity runners/ Alumni

Work on those fundamentals that will benefit you next T&F season!

General strength and conditioning, specific discipline skills (jump, throw, hurdle), flexibility, and general knowledge of Track and Field.
